# Cape Town has been named the world’s most beautiful city. Time Out’s latest list of the world’s most beautiful cities saw Cape Town receive 86-percent of the votes, followed by Edinburgh in Scotland, Sydney in Australia, Chicago in the US and Lisbon in Portugal. Mayoral committee member for Economic Growth, James Vos, says this accolade celebrates the metro’s breathtaking natural beauty, but is about far more than spectacular scenery:
