# Cape Town has made Time Out’s list of the best cities for food in 2026. Ranked at number eleven, the Mother City is celebrated for its homegrown flavours, with the Cape Malay curry receiving a special mention. The Peruvian city of Lima came out on top, known for its seafood delicacies like ceviche. For a second year in a row, Bangkok in Thailand is number two, offering an unmatched street food culture. Mexico City is third, followed by London and Barcelona in Spain, wrapping up the top five.
