# The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway in Cape Town is temporarily closed for annual maintenance from today until the 9th of August. Hikers and climbers will still be able to enjoy the various hiking routes, but no cable car trips will be available. Spokesperson Wahida Parker says during this time, essential inspections, testing, and maintenance work will be carried out to ensure they continue to provide a safe, world-class experience:
