# Johannesburg-born singer Tyla has won two awards at the 52nd American Music Awards in Las Vegas. She took home Best Afrobeats, beating stars including Burna Boy and Wizkid, and also won Social Song of the Year for her hit Chanel. The win makes her the first international artist to claim the social song award. The track has already passed 354-million streams on Spotify and made Tyla the first African artist to score multiple top ten hits on the global Spotify chart.
