# Cape Town’s I AM WATER Ocean Conservation Foundation has been nominated for the 2025 Earthshot Prize. The foundation, connecting underserved youth to the ocean, gained global recognition for its Ocean For All initiative. Founder Hanli Prinsloo says ocean connection transforms communities and more than 48-thousand-900 youth have benefitted since 2019. The prestigious Earthshot Prize awards 20-million-rand to each of five winners annually, celebrating efforts to repair the planet.
