# A fast-moving fire is threatening the US city of Reno in Nevada, with nearly 90-thousand people ordered to evacuate or told to prepare to leave. The Hawk Fire has burned more than four-thousand hectares and remains completely uncontained. Around 42-thousand residents are under mandatory evacuation orders, while another 45-thousand are in a warning zone. At least six people, including three firefighters, have been injured. Strong winds and dry conditions are driving the blaze, which officials say was human-caused. Nevada’s governor has declared a state of emergency.
