# Pop sensation Taylor Swift has made history by becoming the most awarded artist at the MTV Video Music Awards. The 36-year-old American, who was previously tied with Beyoncé with 30 awards, won three awards at last night’s ceremony in Los Angeles. Swift took home the inaugural Artist Director Honours, and Video of the Year and Best Direction for The Fate of Ophelia. Madonna won Artist of the Year, while Song of the Year went to BTS for Swim. Bruno Mars won Best R&B for I Just Might.
