# The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company is celebrating its 96th birthday this October, marking nearly a century of taking visitors to one of the New-7-Wonders of Nature. Since 1929, over 32-million people have enjoyed the scenic ride. Managing Director Wahida Parker says the milestone coincides with the Local is Lekker special, offering discounted tickets for South Africans. She emphasised that the company continues its conservation, community upliftment, and tourism excellence initiatives ahead of the festive season.
