# Cape Town’s disaster operation centre is monitoring the impacts of the second frontal system which has made landfall this morning, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. There have been reports of localised flooding in several informal settlements, electricity outages and fallen trees. The centre’s spokesperson, Charlotte Powell, says they have also logged reports of roofs being blown off in Mitchells Plain and Hanover Park:
