The patient, who recently consumed fish caught from the Vaal River while vacationing in Limpopo, has been admitted and isolated at Life Peglarae Hospital in Rustenburg. The department’s Tebogo Lekgethwane says the source is being investigated, and contact tracing is in progress, including at the mine where the patient is employed:
