Netflix has stepped in to save the iconic Sesame Street

# Streaming giant Netflix has stepped in to save the long-running children’s show Sesame Street, after Warner Bros. Discovery opted not to renew its five-year deal for the programme. Netflix has signed a deal with Sesame Workshop, which will see the streaming service air season 56 later this year. The new season will feature fresh format changes and the return of fan-favourite segments like Elmo’s World and Cookie Monster’s Foodie Truck. Sesame Workshop says it is excited to continue helping children everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder.
