# The deputy minister of Agriculture Rosemary Nokuzola Capa will lead an outreach programme with 200 women farmers at Ingquza Hill in the Eastern Cape tomorrow. The outreach aims to empower and support women farmers, recognising their pivotal role in agriculture, rural development, and food security. She says the initiative also aims to address high levels of poverty and unemployment among women, while highlighting the economic and social contributions women make to their communities and the agricultural sector.
