# Two major US airlines are being sued by passengers who say they paid extra for window seats, only to be given seats next to a blank wall. Delta Airlines and United Airlines now each face proposed class action lawsuits representing more than a million passengers each. Passengers say they do not flag these non-window seats during the booking process. The lawsuits say people buy window seats for several reasons, including to address fear of flying, keeping children occupied or just to enjoy the view.
