# Amazon has launched its Prime subscription service in South Africa, offering free same-day and next-day delivery, video streaming, cloud gaming and exclusive shopping deals. The service costs 59-rand per month or 399-rand per year following a 30-day free trial. Amazon says Prime members will also enjoy access to Prime Video, Amazon Luna, Twitch benefits and exclusive Prime Day discounts. Managing director Robert Koen says the offering combines shopping convenience and entertainment, providing greater value to South African customers.
