# The agriculture organisation TLU SA has welcomed the arrival of the first batch of a 3.5 million-dose consignment of Argentina’s Biogénesis Bagó foot and mouth disease vaccines. This is the largest single consignment of FMD vaccines ever imported into South Africa. TLU SA’s Bennie van Zyl says the Department of Agriculture must establish an allocation distribution committee for the FMD vaccines, which should include farmers and agriculture organisations:
