# Basketball: The City of Cape Town is partnering with African Grassroot Hoops for the Youth Day Classic Basketball Tournament to commemorate Youth Month. The fifth edition of the tournament looks to be a slam dunk, with 18 Under-19 teams showcasing more than 800 young players at the German International School this weekend. Mayoral committee member for Community Services and Health, Francine Higham, says the tournament aims to create safe spaces where youth from local communities can access top-level sports:
