# Eskom says it is intensifying its focus on environmental performance and long-term sustainability. To date, the power utility has invested over three-billion-rand in emissions reduction projects, with 15.6-billion-rand allocated over the next five years. Eskom’s spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena, says they have made notable progress in reducing Nitrogen Oxide emissions across their fleet.
