HBO’s Harry Potter TV series has officially found its lead trio

# Arabella Stanton, Dominic McLaughlin and Alastair Stout have been cast to play Hermione, Harry and Ron in HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter TV series. More than 30-thousand actors auditioned for the lead roles since an open casting call was launched last year. The three join fellow cast members, including John Lithgow, who will play Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, and Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall. It is expected that there will be seven series of the show, each season adapting one of the Harry Potter books by JK Rowling.
