# Plastics recycling organisation, Polyco and the Western Cape Government are expanding their school recycling programme to 13 more schools this year. Each school will get over 380-thousand-rand to set up recycling centres, teach learners about recycling, and create jobs for local community members. Polyco’s Chantal Philander says the programme also helps schools earn money by collecting and selling recyclables through the Packa-Ching model:
