# The head of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, Solomon Ayele Dersso, says South Africa has the right to enforce its immigration laws, while protecting the rights of undocumented migrants. Speaking in Pretoria after a delegation completed a five-day promotion mission to South Africa, he said being undocumented does not remove a person’s human rights. Dersso called for regional cooperation to tackle organised crime as well as border management system corruption:
