Hyundai plans new driver-assist system for 2029

# Hyundai says it will launch vehicles with its own advanced driver-assistance software in 2029. Until then, the South Korean carmaker will work with US technology company Nvidia to introduce more advanced driving systems from 2028. Hyundai says the partnership will help it gather data and develop its own system, called Atria. The systems will be able to assist with highway and more complex urban driving, but drivers will still need to supervise the vehicles. Hyundai is also considering technology that would eventually allow hands-off driving under certain conditions.
