# Public Works deputy minister, Sihle Zikalala, says plans are progressing for the construction of a small harbour in the Ray Nkonyeni District on the KZN South Coast. The one-billion-rand project includes a boat launch site and fisheries, expected to create thousands of jobs. Speaking at the Umdoni Investment Conference, Zikalala said the programme will expand to other provinces. He called for investment in infrastructure and small businesses to boost growth, especially in townships and rural areas previously excluded under apartheid.
