# The Hear Me Out national competition has received over 700 submissions in the form of voice notes, poems, letters, videos and artwork, each detailing what it means to be young in South Africa today. Keready, a youth-led movement and part of the Hold My Hand campaign, is running a parallel teen edition of the competition. KereadySA’s doctor, Katlego Selikane, says the voices of young people reveal a collective call for understanding, safety, and respect:
