# The University of the Western Cape says it is beaming with pride as two of its students, Sisonke Mfeketho and Diteboho Shabalala, achieved first place in the prestigious Johannesburg Stock Exchange University Investment Challenge. The highly competitive challenge invites university teams to experience the thrill of the financial markets by simulating real-world share trading. University and college participation included seven-thousand-700 students from 110 institutions. UWC says Mfeketho and Shabalala proved that brilliance, boldness, and a hunger for learning can yield golden rewards.
