# University of the Free State research associate in the Department of Afrikaans and Dutch, German and French, professor Naòmi Morgan, has received the UJ Prize for Translation. The award recognises outstanding translations from any language into one of South Africa’s official languages. Professor Morgan was honoured with this award for her translation Ons wag vir Godot, based on the iconic French text En attendant Godot by Irish playwright Samuel Beckett.
