# South Africa’s Tourism minister, Patricia de Lille, is in Ghana to strengthen tourism ties and cultural exchange. During the three-day visit, de Lille will meet Ghana’s Tourism minister, Abla-Dzifa Gomashie, and key industry players to promote South Africa as a top leisure and meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions destination. According to the Tourism Ministry, the 2023 visa waiver has already boosted Ghanaian tourist arrivals by 149-percent. De Lille emphasised the visit’s role in deepening African partnerships and fostering economic growth through intra-African travel.
