# The agriculture organisation TLU SA says it is concerned about any import of chicken products from Brazil to South Africa at this stage. This comes as government has partially lifted the ban on poultry imports from Brazil. The Department of Agriculture is now allowing imports from all Brazilian states except Rio Grande do Sul, where bird flu was detected. TLU SA’s Bennie van Zyl says stringent biosecurity measures need to be implemented:
