# The Table Mountain National Park has noted that many visitors will want to experience the upcoming full moon and lunar eclipse from this evening until Monday night at different vantage points from the mountain. The South African National Parks spokesperson, Charles Phahlane says a lunar eclipse is different from a solar eclipse, which one should never stare at directly. He says visibility across the city of Cape Town is expected to be optimal, and no glasses or filters are needed:
