# South Africans recently laced up and stepped out for the global May50K challenge, raising over 300-thousand-rand for Multiple Sclerosis. This is more than the original 100-thousand-rand goal. Over one-thousand-600 people participated, showing unity and strength. Paralympian Kat Swanepoel led the charge with a 50km swim. Thirty-percent of the funds will help local Multiple Sclerosis services, and 70-percent will power global research.
