# President Cyril Ramaphosa says the freedom of women is indivisible, as no culture, religion, government or ideology can justify reducing women to lesser human beings. He delivered the keynote address at the National Women’s Day commemoration event at the Union Buildings in Pretoria yesterday. Ramaphosa says since the advent of democracy, South Africa has made significant strides to empower women.
