# The National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed that an urgent court application brought to stop the execution of arrest warrants in the case involving extortion-accused taxi boss, Madoda Johannes Sibanyoni, and his co-accused has been formally withdrawn. Prosecutors had obtained a J50 warrant of arrest after re-enrolling the case that had been struck off the roll by the Kwaggafontein Magistrate’s Court last month. NPA spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago told Newzroom Afrika that the extortion case can now proceed:
