Northern Cape positions itself as SA’s new investment frontier

# The Northern Cape premier Zamani Saul says the Investment and Jobs Conference underway in Kimberley, aims to boost industrialisation, economic growth and job creation. Saul confirmed that the province targets 200-billion-rand gross domestic product and 60-thousand jobs by 2030 as the region offers strong opportunities in mining, renewable energy, agriculture and infrastructure. Meanwhile MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Venus Blennies-Magage says the province is positioned as South Africa’s next investment frontier focused on unlocking large-scale projects to drive sustainable economic development.
