# North-West University’s second-year BSc animal science student, Lesego Molema, has been nominated for the South African Agricultural Awards. He is the first student from the university to be recognised at these national awards, which celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership in farming, agri-business and culinary arts. Lesego sees his nomination as a platform to expand his advocacy for youth involvement in agriculture and to inspire other students to pursue leadership and innovation within the field. The awards will be held in Durban on November 7.
