National Police Commissioner Masemola to testify at Parliament’s ad hoc committee

# Parliament’s ad hoc committee will hear testimony from a new witness today, National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola. The committee is looking into allegations made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, who completed his testimony on Wednesday. During his testimony at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, Masemola accused suspended Police minister Senzo Mchunu of violating section 207 of the Constitution by ordering the disbandment of the KwaZulu-Natal political killings task team. He also accused former Police minister Bheki Cele of protecting suspects and manipulating dockets.
