The suppliers are accused of taking orders and payments but failing to deliver goods before disappearing or shutting down their websites. The commission’s Phetho Ntaba says the cases involve companies based in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, with some operating entirely online, making them difficult to trace:
