Mpumalanga police seize R4m dagga haul near Eswatini border

# Mpumalanga police seized 630 kilograms of dagga worth more than four-million-rand in Tonga near the Eswatini border. Spokesperson Mpho Nonyane-Mpe says officials searched an articulated truck and trailer with Eswatini registration plates and discovered 49 bags of dagga. A suspect was arrested and detained. The truck, reportedly belonging to a logistics company based in Eswatini, was also seized. Nonyane-Mpe says the operation is aimed at disrupting cross-border drug trafficking and preventing illegal drugs from entering South Africa.
