Minister sê Shivambu kan nie aangekla word weens besoek aan voortvlugtende Bushiri nie [KLANK]

# Die minister van Justisie, Mmamoloko Kubayi, sê die sekretaris-generaal van die MK-party, Floyd Shivambu, kan nie wetlik vervolg word weens sy bywoning van ‘n Paasdiens in Shepherd Bushiri se kerk in Malawi nie. Suid-Afrika probeer om die pastoor en sy vrou, Mary, aan Suid-Afrika uitgelewer te kry om op verskeie aanklagte verhoor te word. Kubayi sê Shivambu het die land in sy persoonlike hoedanigheid besoek. Sy het die besoek egter as blatante minagting van die regstelsel veroordeel en gesê sy optrede spoor voortvlugtiges aan.

# Justice minister Mmamoloko Kubayi says MK Party secretary-general Floyd Shivambu cannot be legally charged for attending an Easter service at Shepherd Bushiri’s church in Malawi. South Africa is currently trying to get the pastor and his wife, Mary, extradited to stand trial on various charges. Kubayi says Shivambu visited in his personal capacity. She did label the visit a blatant disrespect to the legal system, stating that Shivambu’s actions undermine South Africa’s judiciary and embolden fugitives:
