# The Citrus Growers’ Association of Southern Africa has increased its 2026 lemon export forecast from 45.8-million to 49.4-million15-kilogram cartons. The revision follows favourable growing conditions, increased rainfall and cold fronts that accelerated fruit colour development and improved fruit size. Major increases are expected from Letsitele in Limpopo and the Sundays River Valley in the Eastern Cape. The association says logistics and coordination across the value chain remain strong, while fruit quality continues to meet high international standards.
