# Lawyers for Human Rights has approached the Johannesburg Labour Court for an urgent interdict against Festive Chicken Company over alleged intimidation and threats of dismissal for striking staff. Workers downed tools at the primary processing facility in Olifantsfontein on the East Rand yesterday following a wage deadlock at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration.
