# The City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services says it is on high alert as a cold front sweeps across Gauteng. Wet and cold weather conditions are expected in the province from today. Johannesburg is forecast to reach a high of 15 degrees Celsius, and there is an 86-percent chance of rain. Emergency Services spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi, says residents are urged to exercise caution when using heating devices, and not to leave them unattended:
