# Global technology giant, Huawei, has awarded bursaries worth two-million-rand to high-achieving ICT students at the Tshwane University of Technology. This is part of a collaboration between the university and Huawei, which aims to support top-performing students and advance TUT’s presence in the digital space. Meanwhile, through the TUT-Huawei ICT Academy, more than one-thousand students have already received training and certification in emerging technologies such as cybersecurity and 5G.
