# Gauteng Finance MEC Nkululeko Dunga says the province’s municipal audit outcomes have regressed, with only two of the eleven municipalities achieving clean audits in the 2024/2025 financial year. Across the province, municipalities incurred 14.4-billion-rand in irregular expenditure, while cumulative irregular expenditure during the current administration has reached 45.92-billion-rand. Dunga says poor financial management is directly affecting service delivery. He says Tshwane has the highest irregular expenditure of any municipality in the province:
