# The Activists and Citizens Forum says businessman Sulliman Carrim should not be granted bail. Carrim is applying for bail after his arrest at Or Tambo International Airport last week on a charge of contempt of the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry. Carrim failed to appear before the commission citing medical reasons. He is expected to appear at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court today. The forum’s spokesperson Dennis Bloem says the allegations must be addressed and warns against preferential treatment in the courts.
