Former World Boxing Champion Zolani Tete shot dead [SOUND]

# Police in the Eastern Cape are investigating the fatal shooting of former world boxing champion Zolani “Last Born” Tete in KuGumpo City. He held the IBF junior-bantamweight title from 2014 to 2015 and also the WBO bantamweight title from 2017 to 2019. The 38-year-old was attacked outside his home yesterday evening while waiting for his gate to open. His female passenger was injured and hospitalised.
