Firefighters have made good progress on the Du Toit’s Kloof Pass fire [SOUND]

# Firefighters from the Cape Winelands District Municipality and CapeNature have made progress in the fire burning on top of the mountains of the Du Toit’s Kloof Pass. The blaze, which started on private land yesterday afternoon, was burning over a large area, resulting in the pass, also referred to as the old tunnel, being closed to traffic. The municipality’s Jo-Anne Otto says firefighters are battling this fire in a challenging environment:
