# For the first time in Africa, the Durban University of Technology will host the grand finale of the global GISU Urban Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition next week. This is in partnership with the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities. The prestigious competition comprises students from 28 universities representing 23 different countries. Representing DUT in the competition will be five student entrepreneurs, comprising three women and two males. The competition will be held under the theme, Further Promoting Sustainable Urban Development.
