# The Deputy minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, Bernice Swarts, will launch the One Million Trees campaign, under the theme, My Tree, My Oxygen at the Pretoria National Botanical Gardens today. The department’s spokesperson, Peter Mbelengwa, says the campaign aims to mobilise South Africans from all walks of life to pledge and donate trees. He says Swarts will outline the ambitious plan to plant one-million trees in one day:
