# The late former deputy president David Mabuza’s daughter from a previous marriage has filed an urgent application in the High Court in Mpumalanga to block the release of his pension fund payout to his widow, Nonhlanhla Mnisi. Tamara Silinda, who claims Mabuza was married to her mother Emunah in customary union, wants Alexander Forbes to be prevented from making any payout from the estate until the matter of the rightful beneficiaries is concluded. She claims that she is owed a portion of the 44.7-million-rand for her living and education expenses.
