# The DA is calling for a thorough investigation into the Walter Sisulu University deadly shooting. One person was shot and killed while two students were wounded at the Mthatha campus on Tuesday after a residence manager allegedly opened fire on students who had been protesting over unresolved residential campus issues. The DA’s, Yusuf Cassim, says the university’s management must be held accountable, and the systemic issues driving the unrest be addressed at the highest level:
