Cosatu vows to fight Tulbagh plant closure with protests and court action [SOUND]

# Union federation Cosatu in the Western Cape has condemned Premier Foods after its CEO, Kobus Gertenbach, received a 26-million-rand pay package while the company plans to close its Tulbagh fruit canning plant. The federation argues the planned closure could threaten thousands of jobs and devastate the local economy, accusing the company of putting executive pay ahead of workers’ livelihoods.
